We are very lucky to be able to offer you this extremely rare motor car today. It is a 1954 Alvis TC21/100 'Grey Lady' Drophead Coupe by Tickford, it is extremely rare in being Left Hand Drive. It was delivered new to Jacques Savoye in Paris and is currently French Registered having been in the USA for many years. The model itself is incredibly rare but being Left Hand Drive makes it nigh impossible to find again. The 'Grey Lady' model was the sporty version capable of 100mph and delivering 100bhp through twin SU carburettors and the capable 3 litre Alvis Engine. These models are spotted by their wire wheels and twin bonnet scoops.

Our car has had a small fortune spent on it in restoration costs and you find it in superb, although not concours condition. The history file is incredible and fills a ring binder with invoices going back to the first owner. There is much paperwork also including owners manuals, brochures, etc. The car runs and drives extremely well and has a new Controle Technique (French MOT). It is currently French Registered and all EU taxes have been paid so it is ready for its next proud owner.

Interior:
The interior was restored a number of years ago and is now in a superb condition with the leather having a lovely feeling of age to it whilst not being ripped or torn. The carpets are also very good and there is nothing to address here. There is a non-original stereo fitted and all in all the interior is a great place for four adults to sit! There are also Front Seat Belts Fitted.

Exterior:
Our car is finished in Cream over Burgundy and it presents extremely well. The paint is lovely and smooth and was a professional job albeit a couple of years ago. There are a couple of small areas where the paint has flaked off a little bit but overall the finish is extremely good. The chrome is all good although one of the front overriders is a little dented. It is a lovely car that you can be proud of but it is not Pebble Beach quality.

Mechanical:
Our car is superb mechanically with much work having taken place recently for a long American Rally, New Rebuilt TD21 based engine including Carbs, CLutch, Water Pump, Oil Pump Generater, Starter Motor. New Hoses, New Brake Lines, Rebuilt Master Cylinder, Rebuilt Wheel Cylinders, 4 New Shocks, Rebuilt Steering Box, 4 new Chrome Wire Wheels, New Tyres, New Battery, Re Wire Car. This is not an exhaustive list but just an idea of the amount of work gone into the car to prepare it for regular use. As you can imagine, it starts and drives great with a throaty roar from the exhausts it really is a Sports Saloon.

Summary
This is an incredibly rare and beautiful car, it has been comprehensively restored in the past. There is a huge history file and it is ready to go to its new owner. The car is actually with me here in Toulouse so shipping here is not a problem and it can be viewed easily. This is a unrepeatable offer for a great Left Hand Drive English Sportscar. It is perfect for continental Rallies or simply as just a lovely weekend car at your holiday home. There are many uses for her and at the low asking price I do not expect it to be here for very long.
